Warli – Acient Indian Art

Hi friends

My today’s art work is based on Indian art form names Warli.

Warli Art was first discovered in the early seventies. While there are no records of the exact origins of this art, its roots may be traced to as early as the 10th century A.D.

For making this art price I have stick drawing paper on old cardboard.

Used poster colors.

It gives you a glimpse of art and craft, lifestyle, music and dance of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu.

The cultural village of Dakshinachitra at Chennai has brought into light the ancient traditions of architecture, craftsmanship, performing arts and cuisine of South India. It also serves as a center for craft communities in the South, as it renders technical and business openings.

Below the pic is showing Village dance from South India. The lady dancing with Horse  prop ..I am form North Indian and there also in villages they use to perform the same dance and we call it “ghodi dance”so i think its not only South Indian dance its a heritage Indian dance .

This mesum reflects a mirror of one of the acient cultres of the world.

The man behind the amazing dance performed by Peacock..

Painting shows Tamizh Man and Woman .The message which i understand by seeing this piece of art is …..Both are incomplete without each other..!!

The word Men is formed out of Women

And The word Women is incomplete with out  Men.

Then why such inequality???????

Stop discriminating….!!!
