I am a self-taught artist. I didn’t attend a fancy art school. I can’t drop names of influential artist mentors who helped shape my vision
I wasn’t following a curriculum, or being told exactly what to study.
I actually started out painting entirely through trial and error, without even reading a book. I just bought some painting materials and dived into it.
You will never find time for anything. If you want time, you must make it. ~ Charles Buxton
From Childhood itself I started enjoying it and used to spend at least 2-3 hours into this.Even though i am Master of Computer Science and spend 5 years to serve IT industry as a Software Engineer then i quit due to few family responsibilities and challenges.
But I still follow my passion.Below are the few Paintings i am sharing which i have made by using simple student water colors.
In the below painting i have tried to define shades of green in bamboo leaves
Bamboo paintings are known as lucky charm, People in china and even now in India use to decorate their living room with these paintings, It brings good luck and happiness in their life.
I’d love to hear from other self-taught artists. Let me know in the comments what resources and motivations you used to ‘teach yourself’.
So beautiful ❤❤❤
